CIT OFFICERS – FINANCIAL SERVICES INDUSTRY – PERMANENT POSITION

We are URGENTLY seeking reliable, hardworking, experienced, dedicated, qualified and trustworthy CIT Officers to join an already tight-knit and dynamic team! The ideal candidates will meet all the listed requirements and be determined, honest and diligent workers! Our client is well established, stable and meets all COVID-19 office and on-site regulations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Own reliable transport and valid driver’s license is essential as hours vary daily – PDP is beneficial
- Must be willing to work hours – rostered days will be allocated, overtime allocated over and above designated hours
- Must be Psira registered, have relevant competency certificates, training certificates, updated licenses, and all other relevant industry related certification
- Prior experience in the industry with reputable reference is essential and non-negotiable
- Clear ITC and Criminal Records (checks will be completed)
- Matric and or relevant tertiary education
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain a safe and secure working environment within the CIT operations of the company
- Adhere to the Standard Operating Procedure of the company at all times
- Ensure CIT compliance in operations and company policy, procedures and security (PSIRA) legislature are adhered to at all times
- Appointed team leaders are responsible for ensuring all rules, procedures and safety regulations are adhered to at all times
- To drive, be crewman or gunman in an armoured vehicle and complete cash collections in order to deliver them to the base for counting
- Ensure gun ports are closed and secured at all times
- Guarantee the secure collection as well as delivery of money and other valuables as a crew member or the drive
- Report criminal activities as soon as possible according to company procedures relating to outsider influence or inside/crew
- Immediately report to the manager any changes or variances taking place in the way that a job is normally handled
- To provide business partners with top notch customer service
- Establish good communication with Managers or Supervisors for relating issues that require professional resolution
- Continuously protect company property from all kinds of threat
- Maintain and treat with respect, the provided equipment including those meant for personal use
- Ensure a fair working relationship with stakeholders and customers and assist clients who require help
- Applying first aid when necessary
- Control aggressive people simply with empty hand techniques
- Prepare and furnish security reports and documentations
- Deal with security risks using firearms
- Undertake loading as well as unloading of cash even in unsecured environments
- Any and all other tasks or instructions given to you by Management
